Cross-Media Support, enabling variable output for print or email distribution. The fact that one set of variable definitions can be utilized for print and email makes this feature set especially powerful.
Variable-length document capability, including features to handle complex situations such as automatically inserting pages due to text overflow or inserting filler pages to maintain signature counts and left/right handedness requirements. Also supports multiple master pages, insertion of PDF pages, automatic hide conditions, page and section numbering, and table of contents generation.
Support for workflows that imprint variable data on preprinted color shells
Flexible templates, enabling a print document layout to “flex,” automatically resizing items on the page based on the amount of custom content added. Uses Pageflex patented technology.
Advanced copyfitting, including the ability to set minimum and maximum settings for font size, leading, inter-paragraph spacing, horizontal scaling, and tracking.
Ability to compose text in more than 60 languages, including Japanese and Chinese.
Native PDF Support, enabling placement of PDF files as images or complete pages, and output of PDF files using the integrated Adobe PDF Library
